Balancing Methods and CTIS:

Whenever you use any kind of objects or material inside a tire to achieve wheel balancing on a Hummer with CTIS, there is a POTENTIAL problem. Over time, tiny bits of rubber may become dislodged from the inside of the tire(s) and create a rubber "dust" which may clog CTIS systems. Many people report using these kinds of methods in CTIS-equipped Hummers with no problem from dust or with clogging of CTIS, but it may be worth keeping this in mind.

As with everything in the Hummer Knowledge Base, these methods are shown here for informational purposes only. The Hummer Network does not make any recommendations or guarantees on anything here. Use these methods at your own risk.
