Upgrading to Newer Insulated Soft Top:

Here's the reader's digest verson: The soft top, along with EVERYTHING it touches, is different. The upgrade requires re-drilling & tapping the side & "c" roll-bars, new rollbar padding, replacing the body panel between the front & back doors (don't forget to match your paint), replacing the channel at the top of the windshield, replacing the aluminum rails & Velcro at the top of the doors & behind the rear door. The easiest way to see the differences is to print out the parts manual page from your model year truck & a '98 & up model year truck & you'll see what I mean. Nothing is the same.
